“You said it was forever”

I realized a few days ago that I have yet to post a song from my favorite band for the song of the week. It was a very difficult task picking just one song considering I love them all. I started listening to Linkin park when I was 12 or 13 years old. It was actually the first rock band that I ever heard unless you include classic rock. A friend of mine introduced me to the band. He was killed in a car accident a few years later. I guess you could say that I feel a special connection with this band because of that.  Continue reading ““You said it was forever””

“Such a marvelous find in an illusion”

I’ve never been a huge fan of Avenged Sevenfold mostly because of the lead singers voice. It’s a little rough for my taste. They just dropped their new album and since my husband is a big fan of them I bought the  CD for him. I actually like a few songs on the new album. “No matter how many deaths that I die I will never forget”

Just about everyone knows by now how talented Jared Leto is. I picked this song because I wanted to share why my blog is titled Never forget, Never regret. I heard this song back when I was going through a difficult time and it spoke to me in more ways than one. But one part of the song has stuck with me throughout my life.
