This year was my first as a blogger. I just recently found out about this year in review thing that bloggers do. I’m not completely sure what all it entails so I’m going to give it my best shot. I know we still have a couple of weeks left before the year is over but I’m almost certain that if I don’t get a head start I’ll miss the deadline. I’ll be writing a more detailed blog of my year as soon as I can.
I started blogging in August so I’m 5 months in. It’s been a great experience so far. I didn’t start this blog with intentions of getting a million followers (although that would be nice). I started it because I felt like I had something to say and I wanted a way to let it out. It’s helped tremendously. Knowing that people are reading is a plus.
I honestly never thought it would take off. I’m somewhat of a random person (as some of you have read) so my blog isn’t just about one thing. It’s a combination of whatever the heck my brain wants to think about that day. That being said, I’m extremely thankful to have such great and supportive followers. You guys inspire me daily through your stories and writings.
So lets get this started!
My top 3 post of the year:
- For TWD Fans – Who would have known? I had a strong feeling this would be the number one blog post. Who doesn’t love The Walking Dead?!
- The Sunshine Blogger Award
- In that moment
My 3 least viewed post of the year:
- Women’s Equality Day: We are not victims, we are survivors.
- “We don’t remember the days. We remember the moments.”
- “I’m actually pretty smart when you get to know me.” -Fred Tomaselli

I think I did that right? There you have it! I think that’s pretty amazing for a blogger of 5 months who had almost no intentions of gaining an audience. I look forward to starting the new year off as a blogger and reading all of the wonderful things you guys share. I think I’m supposed to add something telling what my blog will focus on next year. I can’t really do that since it doesn’t ever focus on just one thing. So it’ll just have to be a surprise! Thoughts and feedback are welcome as always!

You have done very well. I started Blogging because I was encouraged to do so. I write because I enjoy writing, I am grateful to those that view and like, numbers don’t worry me I am just pleased if someone finds what I write interesting. In the last year, I have seen a change in myself. I made a change and it has left me happier, more content and more confident. If it was not for one person I would never have enjoyed writing in the first place. Just enjoy it Angela as I enjoy your posts.

Well said! I didn’t start this for the numbers of likes or followers either. But it has been nice receiving the support. I do enjoy reading what you post as well and I’m glad we were able to connect on here!
