It’s been at least a week since my last post. Maybe more but who’s keeping count? The holidays always get the best of me. I’m not even going to lie, I took a whole (very much needed. No, that’s an understatement) week off of work. November marked my 5th year at my job. Believe me when I tell you it’s an absolute miracle to stay at my job for 5 years. So I took some of my 130 hours of paid time off and enjoyed doing almost nothing for a week.
I still kept up with my normal responsibilities but other than that and hanging out with the family for the holidays, I pretty much did nothing. That includes staying almost completely away from the internet. I slacked on my blog too. Who can blame me? We all need a break every now and then.
Now that my vacation is over, I’m trying to get back into the groove of things. It’s a lot easier said than done but I’m getting there. I’ll be working on posting the other photos soon. Hopefully in the next few days. In the meantime I’m going to attempt to catch up on reading all of your post in the last week! Wish me luck!

Thank you! It was very much needed including the break from the internet. But catching up will be a challenge!

Taking a break is a nice thing..and the fact that you could even stay away from the internet is quite praise worthy! 😀 These days, our lives depend so much on the net, that doing even a day without it feels like impossible! And that’s definitely not good. So it is good know that you could. May be I’ll try too (or may be not :p)

It was pretty easy for me. My job requires me to be on a computer so taking a break from my job also meant taking a break from technology haha. I just realized yesterday that my generation will probably be the last to say we lived in a house with no Internet, computer or smart phone. I’m a little disappointed by that lol.

Good to see you back! I’m having a break from facebook at the moment, sometimes you just need some downtime from the endless scrolling for absolutely no reason at all! Hope your Christmas season has started off well!

I’m with you! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thought about just deleting facebook. The only reason I have to be on it is to keep up with distant family members. I guess that’s a good enough reason for now.
Thank you! I hope yours has as well! I can say I’m pretty thankful for a kid that wants books for Christmas lol!
